Dog owners - advice please!

Working from home means zero face to face meetings so I’m making up for them in the 3 days I’m back in the office. Yesterday, I had meetings from 8:30-4:30 straight. At 4:30 I headed to a much deserved (I think very highly of myself) happy hour.

Callie does not like running in the rain.
Thank God.
Got all the running gear on and we were out the door this morning.
As soon as we stepped out of the apartment complex she stopped, looked around at the rain, turned heel and sat facing the entrance to the apartment. She looked up at me with a “fuck this” look and we headed back in side.
Looks like someone is skipping lunch and going on a run instead.

Live and learn - first time dog owner mistakes
Last night Mark and I went out with friends. Since we left at 8:30pm and Callie is super duper house trained we decided to leave her out instead of putting her in the kennel. I felt bad leaving her in her kennel for so long - we don’t usually put her to bed until 10pm.
Well…… that was a mistake.
Mark and I came home at 1am and I glanced over and saw Callie sleeping in her bed....
