So that midterm last night…I’m hoping I blew the thing out of the water because I was down right embarrassing on the Bonus Points section.
You know…those couple of ‘gimme’ questions that professors throw on tests to give you a couple extra points. Those easy, trivia questions that anyone who is not a hermit or a self-absorbed idiot should know.
Well, I not only...

Taylor Swift steps out sans makeup - and looks like a schleppy homeless person like the rest of us.

True Confession Tuesday
I hate quinoa.
It smells like death when it’s cooking.
I’ve even tried it in two different salads: a southwest style salad with a lime-cilantro dressing and a greek style salad with greek dressing. Both barely edible.
The only tolerable form I’ve found is as a breakfast grain (blueberries, milk, brown sugar, cinnamon) and I’m really only eating it because I bought a...

My Week
I’ve been looking forward to and dreading this week for a whole month.
Looking forward to because I have a business trip to Nashville that should be a lot of fun. I’ll get to stay in a nice hotel and spend nights out with my coworkers (whom I adore and never get to see). I’ll be crazy busy and on my feet most of the time but I love our customers and interacting with them.
I...

If you are a mother
Please, PLEASE, do not post pictures on Facebook of the floating dookie your little angel squeezed out during bath time.
Anonymous asked: helloo! Just want to make sure, did the small package show up? I think it should have been there last Saturday. Hope it got there safely! :) - Your TB

Lent - no more shopping
Last year I gave up shopping for Lent. I’m no model Catholic but I like an excuse to practice a little self-discipline.
Lent last year really sucked but my wallet was much fatter and it really made me stop and think about what I really needed and not just what was so adorable I could not live without it.
So here are the rules:
For the next 40 days no purchases pertaining to the...

Currently in a place in my life...
…where I feel like I’m waiting for something to happen.
I just sort of feel in a rut. I’ve got things going on and good people in my life but I’ve temporarily lost my joie de vivre.
I know waiting sounds lazy. I should be blazing new trails and trying to make something happen but sometimes things are just in a place where waiting is the only option.
So I’m just...

I really enjoy Valentine's day
I know lots of people despise it or choose not to partake but I like an excuse to be a little bit more romantic for a day.
Mark and I celebrated this past weekend (today is a disaster timing wise, we’ll get to see each other for exactly 2 hours today) and we decided this year we wanted to go to a local bar, pig out on apps and zerts, drink, and spend a couple hours just the two of us,...
I really need to go grocery shopping today.
But I want to wait until Wednesday so I can buy all the clearanced Valentine’s candy.

You can't sit with us!
Group projects are the worst.
They aren’t the worst because you have to work with other people, I’m okay on that aspect, but you do have to choose a group of people to work with - which I find uncomfortable, especially considering that my grad program is not set up by class. Each class is a mix of people in different levels of degree completion, so, unless you’ve been in the...
