The imperfections post
Since the theme of today is airing your imperfections - here we go:
My upper lip is a little deformed in that it’s not the appropriate length. When my lips are relaxed my mouth stays open, it should shut but it doesn’t. I have to purse my lips to shut my mouth completely.
Sometimes I don’t give a damn about spelling or grammer.
I need attention to live.

Moral of the story: your spouse makes you fat
Background: I’ve been away all month, working in St. Louis, while Mark was in KC, attending dental school classes.
Since we’re both away from each other (i.e. we both have no one to hang out with after work/class) we’ve been working out, about an hour every day.
Mark’s lost 8 lbs, I’ve lost 2lbs (WTF is it with guys losing more weight than ladies?).

I'm not coming on to you.
My contact has a tear in it and don’t have a backup lens or backup glasses. To compensate for the uncomfortable piece of plastic in my eye I keep opening and closing that eye to readjust the lens.
I’m afraid my frequent winking is sending mixed signals.

Last night Mark took it upon himself to add up all the loans we’ve had to take out to pay for his dental school. When he gave me the total I didn’t know whether to vomit or cry. He has just two more years of school left.

Dream jobs and truth bombs.
I wrote out a very lengthy post about how not everyone can pursue their dream job and how, as a generation, we too often believe we need to land our dream job in our 20s. It was preachy, WAY too much of a downer, and I sounded like a capital B so I deleted it.

Those two things cancel each other out right?
The office is making me make bad food decisions. When I work at home I usually have a fruit/oatmeal smoothie for lunch and a piece of fruit or crackers for a snack. Today I had a cobb salad for lunch but it had avocado in it so I’m pretty sure that cancels out the fatty dressing, chicken, egg, and cheese (btdubbs - it was delish).

Whenever I leave a gas station
